Weʼve raised £4,758 to help our friend and former colleague Carl Smith achieve the target he needs to reach for life saving cancer treatment.

Story
Carl now urgently needs treatment for a complex form of cancer called paraganglioma and we his friends and colleagues from the Telegraph are hoping to raise thousands of pounds to help pay for treatments not covered by the NHS, such as immunotherapy and ‘chemo thermia’.
Carl and his family have already lost precious family members to cancer, Carl's father died from Cancer and only 2 years ago his younger brother Daniel died from this disease at the age of just 24 and his young 15 year old daughter was also found to have a tumour, however thankfully she has since been given the all clear.

5 years agoThank you to everyone that came to the event at The Empire to raise funds for Carl and his lovely family. It was a huge success and I'm so happy that we achieved our target. This was down to you guys, that bought tickets to the event, to everyone that bought or sold raffle tickets, to all the sponsors that generously gave us prizes for the raffle and the auction. Hopefully you will never be in this situation yourselves but friends and family would be there for you too. Lots of love xxx
