I am Anna Cope, I am fundraising to help fund my charity volunteering work in Tanzania with Camps International (a charity helping combat world poverty, endangered species, our deteriorating wildlife and environment and lack of education for many across the world) it is an amazing opportunity which has been offered by my school. I am 14 years old and extremely determined to create a positive impact on our world. I am fortunate enough to live in a lovely house with my family, go to a outstanding rated school and have many items that I take for granted. But unfortunately, this is not the case for people in Tanzania, this is why I want to help improve their lives.

I am going with Camps International which is a volunteer charity organisation helping improve and benefit the lives of people all over the world. We are going to Tanzania; unfortunately, 40% of the people in Tanzania are living under the poverty line, nearly half of the population live on just less than $1 a day and the average life expectancy is just 55 years old. However, with my fundraising and volunteer work I hope to improve those shocking statistics.

My work, with your help, will have an impact on the people of Tanzania as well as their precious wildlife and environment. It helps the community in building classrooms to improve access to education, installing clean water supplies for entire villages, building homes for vulnerable families and in turn improving the lives of the people. It benefits the wildlife and environment as part of our work there we will be planting trees, assisting the sea turtle conservation, helping educate the people on the environment and protecting endangered species like the elephant which are seen as a pest.
