So firstly I promise I will not do any more sponsored events for the foreseeable future!! I am going to run the Ealing half marathon on the 29th September and I have two absolutely amazing causes that your support would make a massive difference to.

The first is to brainstrust and the second is to my nephew Charlie who has cerebral palsy. All money raised will be split 50/50 between the two.

Many of you are aware that I’m currently undergoing radiotherapy for an acoustic neuroma (a form of benign brain tumour that grows around the nerves of the ear). Brainstrust have offered information and support to me and are a truly amazing charity. They run purely on fundraising and are a huge support to many people and families when they need it the most.

Lots of you have the pleasure of knowing Charlie or seeing him at Jon and I’s wedding. He is the smiliest most gorgeous little man who is also the toughest cookie I know. Charlie has cerebral palsy and is in need of some extra support to help him to get around and chase his brother Freddie! Any money raised will help fund equipment for Charlie, adjustments to his home and garden so he can access as much as possible.

I’m trying to keep my fitness up during treatment and have recruited Brady the dog as my short (and slow) distance running buddy! I can’t promise with everything going on I will get a great time but I will give it my absolute all as these two causes mean a ridiculous amount to me!
