In March 2019, Peter was diagnosed with Motor Neurones Disease which was devastating news for his family and friends. A farther of three and with a grandchild on the way he has always been at the centre of his loving family.

His youngest 14 year old daughter, Annaliese, wants to raise as much money as she can to support her dad with specialist equipment and care to keep him independent for as long as possible.

Annaliese wants to run 14 miles (a mile for every year her dad has looked after her so well!). She aims to finish at her dads charity fundraiser at the Furness Cricket Club in Barrow-in-Furness on 18th May. Its a very long way for a 14 year old to run, with hills, mud and lake district weather along the way, but with your help and support she can make it!!
