Story
On 23 March 2019, I will be facing my fear of heights to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to help raise funds for the inspirational Lucy Dodd to buy a Rewalk exoskeleton device to achieve her dream of walking again.
Lucy has spent 15 years in a wheelchair after being diagnosed with a spinal Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), a rare condition that left her paralysed from from the waist down, whilst at University. These amazing ‘robot legs’ don’t come cheap and Lucy has a staggering target of £80,000 to raise. She’s been fundraising like a mad thing and has already got to £50,000 so anything we can do to help would be amazing.
