Story
We need 100,000 items of PPE to start to protect our nurses and care staff at our local hospital Colchester.
As we are all aware there is a dire shortage of PPE for the whole care sector.
I wanted to help in anyway I could so started to look into how to buy PPE in quantities that would significantly cover the shortage at Colchester Hospital which is local to me and has been there for all my family.
The Daily Gazette with its Guardian Angels campaign is backing this appeal.
Please help me to protect our valuable NHS heroes ,give generously and share with all your friends.

4 years agoI know first hand that Colchester General Hospital are not protection their nurses .They are asked to reuse masks and not to wear scrubs otherwise they will be disciplined. Last week with your help I delivered successfully 1200 masks to the vulnerable wards at Colchester Hospital . This week I will take delivery of 2000 gowns .This is thanks to your donations this will only protect two wards for 5 days . Please if you haven't donated support me in trying to protect our heroes.

4 years agoThank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far . It cost approx £6,000 to buy PPE for 1 ward for 5 days there are 13 wards at Colchester Hospital majority with little or no PPE .These nurses need our help. I do appreciate it is difficult times at the moment but if each of you could just give £20 you will truly make a difference . As soon as I hit the £6000 mark I can order PPE for a ward so time is of the essence I need you to donate NOW. Thank you so much.

Colchester Hospital is very dear to my families heart having friends and family that work at Colchester hospital and hearing first hand the shortage of PPE on the wards at the moment I felt I needed to try and help in any way I can.
