Story
Relatives and Care staff of the residents in Chester Nursing Home in Whitehead Co Antrim in Northern Ireland are getting together to raise funds to purchase an interactive projector. It will be used stimulate the residents and provide them with some positive interaction.
It is said that meaningful activity has huge benefits for residents living with dementia and that it should be integral to daily care home life. It can be argued that if an individual is not engaged in some way, they can experience anxiety, aggression, agitation or apathy.
Similar systems are being used in care homes across Europe, ROI and the UK with great effect.
Please help us towards improving the quality of life for our elderly relatives and residence by providing them with the ability to enjoy the positive interaction that one of these interactive projectors might bring.
