    Story

Penny was discovered in a home of an old lady who had died the neighbours didn't hear her bark for a few days they called the police. Penny was found trapped in a bathroom covered in her own body waste she had a damaged trachea from barking. Police took her to the vets who managed to keep her alive. She was fully matted and in such a state that her face couldnt be seen. Penny was absolutely traumatised her new owner had to coax her to eat and had to bath her 4 times and build up trust to cut the matted fur. Penny was diagnosed diabetic three months later.
Pennys treatment is expensive for her pensioner owner she is prone to cysts and has to have insulin injection twice a day which is £40.00 a month for a 10ml bottle (Inc repeat prescription) and £13.00 for needles. This does not include vet bills. Her owner will go without to make sure Penny gets what she needs.
