Apna Ghar (which means our home) provides day care for the elderly and also those with physical and learning difficulties. The centre is multi faith and there is no discrimination on racial cultural or gender grounds. We offer a specialised range of services to support and encourage all and have on numerous occasions been praised for our outreach projects.

Running expenses of the centre are met from from funds from local authority and donations from individuals and organisations. We are planning to extend our services by provision of proper dementia centre. We also need to improve the facilities to provide quality service. We are in dire need of funds for following projects:

1. Build an extension to provide dementia centre.

2. Purchase appliances and equipment for the dementia centre.

3. Renovate kitchen, replace and purchase equipment

4. Replace minibus

5. Purchase a proper van for delivery of food.

6. Replace office equipment and furniture.

I would like to appeal to everyone to donate generously towards our projects to enable us to continue providing service to the elderly and disable people from the community.
