Aberystwyth’s university student union (RAG) – Raise and Give is a fund which is allowing societies such as netball to come up with fun ways to raise money for national and local organisations.
The money from RAG will be split equally between three:
The first is awarded to a UK Charity which is proposed and voted on by students at our Fresher’s Fair in September each year.
The second is awarded to a Welsh Charity which is decided by our Full-Time Officer Team in August each year.
The third is placed into a Community Fund and distributed to local charities in Mid-Wales by the form of grants.
As students of AUNC, we have also collectively decided to donate a percentage of the money raised to Breast Cancer Research, a charity that is currently very close to the club's heart.

We have already come up with many exciting and fun ways to help RAG and we would love for you to support them!

Our next RAG event will be a sponsored run taking part on the 8th of December. We’ll be running the entire Aberystwyth promenade and back in 80’s aerobic active wear!
