Weʼve raised £1,005 to Help pay for heart surgery for Aziza Badran.

Funded on Sunday, 9th December 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Aziza Badran is a Palestinian refugee living in Al Bass Camp in Southern Lebanon. The situation in the camps is dire for Palestinians: lack of basic amenities, minimal electricity, poor sanitation and a lack of fresh water. In addition, medical services are not fit for purpose. Decent healthcare is only available outside the camps; in which case health care costs are far too expensive.

Aziza Badran has suffered heart complications and is badly in need of surgery on her valves. While doctors have diagnosed her illness treatment cannot commence until the bill is paid in full. The cost for Aziza' s surgery is US$5,000 (a little over £3,900). The family barely has the finances to pay for daily needs much less medical care. Currently she is at El Mazloom Hospital, Tripoli, in the North of Lebanon.

Time is of the essence. Please donate to help Aziza get life-saving heart surgery.

    Important notice:
Should the inevitable take place before our target is reached, the funds will be donated to the needy in the same region (in all of your names). We pray that it won't come to that.

     جزاك اللهُ خيرًا

    Thank you
    Assalamu alaikum

Assalamu alaikum. Well it's day 1 and we've raised £215.00 so far. Al hamdulillah. Jazak'Allahu to all those who donated. This is just the beginning. We still have quite a bit to cover and little time. If we reach our target I will pay the hospital myself and arrange for the medical receipt to be sent to me. Alternatively I may fly out to Lebanon and personally collect the receipt and display the photo online. Either way I urge everyone to spread the word and continue donating.  جزاك اللهُ خيرًا Assalamu alaikum Bilal Andrew Ramsey
