Please help!

Hi, my name is Bailey and I have been given a fantastic and life changing opportunity to volunteer, work and live with local communities to assist a local children's charity to improve facilities for a school & community 'Ndatu' in Tanzania, and experience a different culture.

The trip will benefit me also to build invaluable life long experiences together with personal key skills such as, team building, self motivation, problem solving, planning, communication and target achievement, as well as learn how to travel safely.

My biggest challenge is to aim to raise as much as I can to help fund my trip and I intend to do this by holding fundraising events and doing personal physical challenges.

To improve and build on my target achievement skills together with my physical agility in preparation of the trip next year, I aim to complete over the next 12 months:

In addition, I will hold fundraising events throughout the year and any additional money that may be raised over the cost of the trip will be used to buy equipment for the schools in Tanzania.

During the project phase we will be camping in the village and preparing our own meals. The work we will be doing at the kindergarten will involve helping with building/renovation, putting up fencing and planting trees.

We also plan to climb Mount Longido

Leaving the village, we travel from Arusha to the Masai village of Longido. Experience walking through the African bush with local guides, we will climb and hike to the summit of Mount Longido at 2637m (higher than the Yorkshire Three Peaks all together).
