    Story

19th November 2018 we noticed that 2 much loved horses were missing from the yard. Police were called & with no evidence or leads we began the search ourselves.

Barney has underlying health issues which are a grave concern if not being given the correct lifestyle and could cause irreversible damage if it is left unmanaged correctly. Barney has COPD and cannot be fed hay but is also suspected to have cushings/ppid or some other related condition. He & Toby were due to be wormed, trimmed and blood tested shortly after he was stolen from the yard.

Since the boys have gone missing we have reported them everywhere, shared their stories and posters and also done interviews for newspapers and magazines. Yet 8 weeks later we still havnt heard anything.

The only thing we do know is someone somewhere knows something, I have chased every possible sighting even Christmas eve and boxing day, I have stood in the field with drones checking local areas etc too.

In this day and age money talks and having spent savings for Christmas on cctv I cannot offer a reward atall. So I am asking if you can please share even £1 or share if you cant then hopefully we will reach a target figure that tempts the person who knows where they are out of hiding. Any extra money we get will go on ensuring they get checked over by a vet and any health needs are met. Also we are looking at improving the perimeter fencing to stop people attempting to steal any of the ponies or tack etc again and more cctv.

Sadly due to the 2 horses being stolen means we cannot meet the yard payments so we will have to leave the yard and rehome 4 of the herd to be able to find somewhere in budget and hopefully local which is heartbreaking even more for myself and my children having gone through hell in the last 8 weeks searching for the boys as it is.

I just hope that we can raise enough to lure the person forward so we can find out if the boys are atleast ok and then make the rest of the ponies safer. Thankyou xxx.

8 weeks since they went missing now. Christmas&New year were ruined by the people that did this. I just hope I can raise enough to get the person that knows something to come forward. It is the only hope I have left. Local newspapers & horse magazines have ran articles, thousands of shares on Facebook & not 1 positive sighting. It's worse than looking for a needle in a hay stack I think I would find that in a day! But 2 half tonne animals can't just disappear. Someone somewhere knows something. Every £1 helps if you cant please can you share x.

My name is Kathryn and I have known these 2 particular horses for over 3 years now. I have looked after them for 2 years and have never gone 48 hours not seeing them in the last 2 years. I am very fond of these boys as are both our families. We just need them to come home now.
