When our Son Baxter was born he spent his first nine days in George Eliot Hospitals special care baby unit. Throughout his time there he received the best care from the unit and all of the staff. Not only did the staff care for him, they also guided and cared for us through those bittersweet first days of his life. From the smallest of gestures they made a horrible time so much easier, the smallest details that they took note of, the time they took to explain something a little clearer or to ask if you were ok.
To honour his first birthday we wanted to give something back and to raise some money for the unit for them to use however they wish.
