i am doing the lyke wake walk (40 miles in 24hours) to raise money for a good friend and his family, luke is fighting with ptsd (post traumatic stress dissorder) after a career in the army fighting for our country.

luke is an army veteran of 12 years and has done tours in northern ireland and numerous tours in afghanistan, when luke joined the army he was ready for all the obsticles the green howards later to become the 2nd battalion yorkshire regimentcould throw at him.

luke is still currently in hospital with his fight against ptsd but taking each day as it comes,when he had his breakdown he did not reconise his childhood sweetheart who he later in life made her his wife Amanda and sadly couldnt remeber there two beautiful girls.

i am hoping to raise as much as possible to make there lives a little easier finacially any donation is a very small price to pay for this true hero who is paying a severe price battling this traumaitic illness !!
