    Story

We will be dancing non stop for 24 hours! 💃🏼

One in 14 people over 65 will develop dementia, and the condition affects 1 in 6 people over 80. The number of people with dementia is increasing because people are living longer. It is estimated that by 2025, the number of people with dementia in the UK will have increased to around 1 million.

We may not be able to run a marathon and are too scared to do a sky dive but my gosh we can dance! So we decided to raise money for people in our community with dementia by dancing for 24hours without stopping!! We are hoping to have lots of visitors and friendly faces along the way to keep us going!

The money we raise will all be spent on ensuring people living in the community at all stages of dementia have access to the help and support they need as well as opportunities to participate in cultural and creative activities that will help them fight this disease . #fightagainstdementia
