I will be travelling to Hue, Vietnam in February to volunteer in the hospital. Hue is one of Vietnam’s most exhilarating cities with a population close to 400,000 people.

Vietnam’s healthcare system if far less advanced to what we have at home. Unfortunately this leads to it not being able to provide high quality service to patients in need. This is due to a lack of education, overcrowding and lack of proper pharmaceuticals.

I will be able to gain experience in a variety of healthcare settings like the Emergency Department, paediatrics, psychiatry and even Vietnamese traditional medicine. I will not be able to make this trip possible without all your support and donations.

Im hoping to raise £1,500 which will enable me to fund my trip with flights, visas, travel and medical resources needed. Undertaking this huge challenge will not only allow me to broaden my clinical and cultural experiences. It helps fulfil my dream of being able to travel with work.
