On July 4th this year after having a routine mammogram, my dear friend's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was a shock to everyone, especially to her family and friends. Bev has just started her second round of chemotherapy and has had to go on statutory sick pay whilst she endures 6 full rounds of chemo. Not only does Bev have to go through such a worrying time. She has to deal with the physical and mental effects of her treatment and think about how she is going to pay her bills at the same time.

No one should have to worry about money at a time like this. This is why I want to set up a fund to help Bev financially through this difficult time so she can prioritise her health and focus on getting herself better.
