At 14, tested for Bowel Cancer and diagnosed, followed by a solid five years of treatment and other issues before finally being operated on at 19, Hospitalized for seven days. The experience was traumatizing, several years of mental health issues and anxieties followed by treatments and doctors. My main focus of this event is to raise money to prevent or help people suffering the same fate. 80% of the money raised is going to bowel cancer UK. The rest to Clatterbridge hospice, another company supporting cancer patients. The final 10% is for Mind Lancashire, a mental health facility to support people suffering from issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and other issues similar.
