Story
The reason we are looking to raise these funds is about a lot more than just replacing some bikes. On the 29th July Adam Sherman and Rob Silk took part in RideLondon raising £1500 for Gully's Place. This is a charity that gives support to families who have children diagnosed with terminal illness.
After completing the energy sapping ride in 7 hours the boys stopped at a services on their journey back to Southampton to refuel and take a much needed rest. They left the bikes locked to the car but unfortunately on their return, discovered that the bikes had been stolen.
The boys were obviously devastated that this could happen but typical to them the first thought went back to what they had achieved for the charity and the families they had been able to help.
We would like to see how much money we can raise to restore some faith that there are good people out there that can make a difference. Any help you can give to get Adam and Rob back on the road again would be greatly appreciated.
This is not something these guys would ever ask for as they are two of the most selfless individuals I know but it feels the right thing to do. Thanks for taking the time to read and support.
