Dear friends.

Tabitha and I are really excited to be able to announce our intention (God willing) to be making our way to Bethlehem at the end of March!

The purpose will be to bring beautiful and hopeful art to the walls of a new ’24/7 prayer-room’ located in a family run guesthouse which is enclosed on three sides by the infamous 'wall'. The guesthouse, as a consequence, has lost huge amounts of business and is now rather hidden and off the tourist trail. I (Debs) have had the privilege of staying with this lovely family last May where I heard many heart wrenching stories which stirred within me a real compassion for their situation.

The B&B needs a lot of work, but we feel this house could be a real sanctuary for prayer and a safe place for the persecuted and marginalised christian community in Bethlehem, along with their Israeli brothers and sisters and others from all over the world, to come together and pray for a city that is greatly in need of healing, safety, transformation and hope. It feels such a privilege and hugely significant to be asked to paint murals illustrating these values in the face of oppression...at present you pull up the blinds and are met only with concrete. We wish to paint a new story ! We specifically hope to be painting a new view mural onto the 'Wall' itself, directly in front of the guesthouse.

THIS is where YOU come in: Tabitha and I are artists, we do not have the funding to do this but we 'trust' that we will be going!! We wanted to share this vision with you to see whether it sparked a desire in you to support. We would be there for 2 weeks in total, painting for 8-10 days. We need to cover our flights, time and expenses whilst out there and anticipate this could cost us 4K in total. We would so value your support both in prayer, as well as financially, and would love to welcome you on the journey.
