    Story

Bitterne Park School has the most amazing opportunity to create a 3G all-weather pitch for the school. Although the school has been redeveloped under the Government Priority Schools Build programme, no funding was put in place to lay down a 3G all-weather pitch surface. The school are aiming to self fund this pitch as we feel that this opportunity will provide a facility that can be used all year round for our PE lessons, break and lunchtimes, after school clubs and activities and our wider community. The first stage of fund raising is being targetted at providing the sports equipment and goals required for the new 3G pitch. The pitch will have a full sized football pitch and then four Futsal sized pitches running across the area. The pitch will be a multi-use facility and used for many sports including rugby, hockey, athletics, rounders, cricket plus many more.
