My Dad has been suffering with severe back pain and nerve damage for over 2 years now and is slowly deteriorating. He has always struggled with lower back pain, but now the problem has become much deeper.

He finds it very difficult to walk and finds himself dragging his legs along the floor. He experiences an extremely severe burning sensation that travels from his lower-back, all the way down to the bottom of his feet. He's found that he can no longer stand for long periods of time and has to lie on the floor for most of the day. He even has to eat his dinner lying down, as he simply can't get comfortable neither sitting or standing. He stopped work as a self-employed Tiler in August 2018 due to this condition and has lost basically all of his independence. He is constantly waiting for the next letter or phone call from the hospital on a waiting list, where he is awaiting very serious spinal surgery.

The money raised will contribute towards paying for spinal surgery. He was initially told if he was to go private it would cost £40k - however, I want to help raise any amount to help contribute towards this as I am hoping this will speed up the process massively.

This is no life for my Dad and it breaks my heart to see him this way. I just want him to enjoy life again.
