Hello. My name is Bron and as part of a team of 8 from my McDonalds store in Rugeley we are raising money for a charity very important to us: Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free home away from home for families whose lives are changed completely by a child falling ill. The charity has 11 Houses across the UK including a 65 bedroom House in Birmingham. Families can stay at the Houses free of charge for as long as they need, on average this is 16 nights but many familes have to stay considerably longer- the longest stay to date is 596 nights. The Houses offer bedrooms that sleep up to 4 people,kitchens and lounges. These amenities allow families to regain a sense of normality and focus their time on the child in Hospital and on their family. The charity receives no government funding and relies heavily on donation from the public. This is where we come in:

We are running a 10K in May to raise money for this amazing charity and we need your support.

No one saves up just in case a child falls ill which is why this charity is so important. People can lose jobs, stop paying for their homes - anything can happen. But we can make it just that little bit easier. Thank you
