    Story

If you wish to donate less than £10 enter it MANUALLY in the box on the donate page. Even £2 would help..

It is mentioned in the Holy Quran (2:83), “…..and (you shall do) good to (your) parents, and to the near of kin and to the orphans….” It has been explained by exegetes that orphans are mentioned right after the parents and the kin because when going outside the circle of relatives; the orphans are the most deserving of kindness. It is because they are deprived of a father who is the guardian, protector and bread-earner of the family.

Next, the Quran (76:8) describes the righteous people as those who give food to the orphans – “And they give food out of love for Him to the poor and the orphan and the captive.”

In Chapter 4 verse 127, Allah calls to justly treat the orphan children. Therefore, the Islamic community should be raised with a thought of justice and equity towards the orphans.

“They ask you (O Muhammad ) what they should spend. Say: Whatever you spend of good must be for parents and kindred and orphans and al-Masakin (the poor) and the wayfarers, and whatever you do of good deeds, truly, Allah knows it well.” (Qur’an, 2:215)

Countless children have lost their parents and families, and it is now more than ever a call for those of us with abundant resources at our disposal to stand up and lend a hand.

The Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) has said: 'I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,' (putting his index and middle fingers together).

Transforming a life costs us little but ensures us a place in Paradise inshaAllah. It is a means of Sadakah jariyah (continuous charity as the donor receives rewards for all the good that the sponsored child does)

Imagine your £2 goes towards helping to support an orphan for 1 whole year, the reward you'll reap is unimaginable.

Salaam brothers and Sisters. Unfortunately the page initially opened to build a mosque but we received a lot of comments saying there are enough mosques in Pakistan. I've therefore changed it to sponsor 2 orphans for 1 year. If you have donated for the masjid please accept my humble apologies. If you do not wish to donate to the new cause please email me at sabirhussein786@hotmail.com and ai will have the money transferred back to yourselves. Once again please accept my apologies.
