We are raising money for my uncle to start his treatment for his sight loss in Turkey. He was diagnosed with aniridia with limbal stem cell deficiency affecting both eyes. His vision had been blurry for years and at high risk of losing his sight completely if he doesn’t receive the right medical treatment in time. Prior to his surgical intervention, he will require an effective assessment including amniotic membrane transplant to ensure optimal surgical outcomes. Unfortunately without financial support he will not be able to proceed his treatment. The treatment costs about £10,000 in total and therefore we ask for your help if anyone could donate money and make his wish come true to be able to see the beautiful world, being able to work and most importantly enable independence. He is currently dependant on his family with all his activities of daily living and coming to a stage where his mental state is also affected, experiencing low mood and signs of depression as a result of feeling hopeless day by day.
