In January 2017 Claire Rocks was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Breast Cancer. This was devastating news for Claire, her husband Mark, their 5 year old daughter Béibhinn and all of their family and friends.

What followed was 8 months of gruelling treatment with Claire thankfully being given the all clear. One year on Claire has organised a series of fundraising events to help Action Cancer (a charity which was very good to Claire and her family through her journey) and Cancer Research who are leading the way in helping find cures for cancer and increase survival rates.

One of the events is the "it's a knockout" team challenge. Our team "Byrneing Rubber" is made up of Conan Byrne, Ciaran Byrne, Cormac Byrne, Caoimhe Donaghy, Orla O'Rourke, David McGarry and Gerard McVeigh.

As friends of Claire & Mark's we hope to raise as much money for her charities as possible and appreciate all of your donations.
