I will be going to Ghana for 6 weeks on the 17th February, to participate in a medical volunteering programme. I will have the chance to work alongside loacl healthcare professionals in Ghana, to provide medical assistance for the less fortunate in community hospitals. I will not only be providing immediate healthcare, but also assisting with educating local communities on preventative measures against the most common illnesses in Ghana.
