My Grandad Colin sadly passed away on Wednesday 23rd January suddently after a short illness, he passed away less than 7 weeks of being diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Around 9 years ago he suffered seriously with mental health and since took it upon himself to run a self funded drop in centre in Leigh town centre for people who have suffered or were suffering with mental illness. He was a very special man who ran this centre for people with even more severe mental health to his own. He listened and helped many people in Leigh and he even won an award for his impact to the community. Id like to raise funds not just for his funeral donation but in his memory and to keep the centre going. The work at the centre included general help and guidance along with regular outings and holidays as a group. Colin contributed a lot of his time and finance, he will be greatly missed by everyone involved, and anyone who knew him. Every small donation is greatly appreciated!
