Story
As-salaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!
It's that time of year again, Ramadan is approaching, and fast!
Year after year, Dar Ul Isra mosque and Al Manar Centre feed the local community of Cardiff during the Holy Month. It would be incredible if we could come together as a society and Muslim student body to sponsor two iftars, one at each masjid.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of a fasting person, without any reduction in his reward. [Tirmidhi]
The reward for feeding our fasting brothers and sisters in Islam is tremendous. With Ramadan blessings just around the corner, let this be your chance to give back to our local masajid and Muslim community.
The total amount to cover the cost of iftar for one night at Dar Ul Isra Mosque is £750, and at Al-Manar is £500, help us reach this target! Please donate however much you can in order for us to feed the fasting during these holy nights of Ramadan.
Please note:
We have increased the target by £50 to cover Justgiving fees. If you would rather your donation not cover the cost of admin, you can alternatively send your donation by bank transfer to the following account:
Name: E Khan; Sortcode: 30-67-34; Account number: 65041168; Reference: "Cardiff Iftar 2019"
Jazakumallahu khairan, may Allah keep you blessed. Please share with all your family and friends!

6 years agoAlhamdulillah, we've received an offline donation of £50, taking our total to £275 and allowing us to surpas the 20% milestone! Less than two weeks until Ramadan, insha'Allah lets make it easy for our masaajid by donating as early as we can. "So race to [all that is] good." - Surah Al-Baqarah: 148 We encourage you to donate and share - don't delay in doing good, as we cannot guarantee tomorrow.
