We are raising money for Devante. A patient, church going young man. His single parent family has had a difficult two years as the target of personal attacks and antisocial neighbours. His family is keen to do everything they can to distract him from this reality as he tries to regain his focus and finish his GCSEs this year - school leaving exams. The school has done its best, decorating him with badges and honouring him with the title of Deputy Head Boy. As a talented young teenage musician, he sings with the Vox Choir, relentlessly. He continues to pursue his passion for music. In addition to being a second violinist in a Symphony Orchestra , he has just completed his second composition. Furthermore, he plays the piano and the drums. A musical prodigy in the making. He is keen to support his choir as they visit Durban, South Africa in July 2019. They will work to inspire high school pupils also aspiring to be musicians and vocalists themselves.
