All Spain Rescue Dogs have been rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs for euthanisation and street dogs for three years. We have a small base In Murcia. We keep our dogs safe and raise funds to cover all veterinary work. We then advertise and find safe and good homes in the UK through screening and homechecking. We offer as much of a bespoke service with our adopters maintaining contact , feedback, photos and videos right up until they travel home.

For our dogs to get to the UK we have to rely on other people to transport them and at present there is a severe shortage and our dogs are having to wait 2-3 months to travel home.In turn this holds up a space for another rescue dog.

Professionally i am a nurse and was heavily involved with the Covid-19 pandemic. During the worst of the times I promised myself I would try to realise my dream of helping my dogs on the whole journey home and leave human nursing behind.

To do this we need a van. And we need a reliable van that is refitted for purpose with climate control and on board monitoring and water source. If we have a van i can transfer 30 years of caring for older people and move my complete focus to helping dogs.

In 2018 i set up a crowd funder for another rescue to get a van and it was succesful - im hoping our time has come and the networks we have created will support what we are aiming for. We invite anyone that is interested to visit us in Spain and see what we have achieved in just three years. We are outside Murcia but i work remotely from my home in Glasgow in between my nursing shifts. I am to be in Spain 6 times a year but if we had the van i could be there 50/50.

So now the hard part - lets throw the net far and wide and see if we can make it happen.
