Local folk, I need the help of a strong community for this one.

I take a fabulous and fiesty 87 year old lady shopping on occasion. She's very isolated out in the sticks, disabled, with no transport and won't accept much help. She's a widow, and a mother like us, but her son lives far away.

She used to love entering competitions but can't access a library now for free magazines. And misses her hobby terribly. I had an idea... Imagine if we joined forces. Would anyone be interested in helping? If we all tore out a competition page from papers or magazines and I sent her it to enter... can you imagine her face?

She'd get human contact, post. And her hobby back. Anyone interested in helping me? Or contributing a couple of pounds towards subscriptions for interesting post!
