    Story

Chueu Primary School is located close to Acornhoek, one of the most impoverished areas in South Africa. There is a high percentage of unemployment, single parent families, low income families and orphans that live in the area. Chueu Primary School is looking to stock their mostly empty shelves with books and create a Children's Reading Corner to encourage the younger children to learn to read in a comfortable, colourful and relaxed environment. This will provide the children the opportunity to expand and enhance their learning experience.

The Principal of Chueu Primary School, Thabelo Lumadi is the most dedicated, determined and hardworking person I have ever met. He is an outward and forward thinking Principal and his successful initiatives and motivation continues to encourage and support his students to achieve their goals and ambitions. Chueu Primary is now successfully linked with a school in the Cumbernauld area in Scotland allowing students from both countries to explore and expand their knowledge. I would be grateful if you could please help support this worthy cause and give the students of Chueu Primary School an opportunity to achieve their ambitions for a brighter future and break the circle of poverty. My target is to raise £200 which will go a long way to create a "Children's Reading Corner" which will expand their learning experience and provide them with a peaceful and fun area to learn.
