Story
We need your help please to raise money to buy Charlotte a mobility vehicle.
In May 2017 Charlotte collapsed during a fun run. She wasn't properly diagnosed for over two days and now has partial locked-in syndrome. Those with the syndrome are almost completely paralysed and sometimes only able to move their eyes up and down, or to blink. They cannot move but they are fully conscious. Charlotte has no movement in her arms or legs except for a tiny bit in her right hand, she speaks via an eye gaze device that converts eye movement into words on a screen and she needs full time care.
The photo is of Charlotte and her Dad, Ed, pictured in front of their Arcona 400 yacht on which they spent many happy family times. The yacht is also now for sale to help raise money for Charlotte's care.
Charlotte is married with a 4 year old daughter, Sophie. Charlotte's family are eager to be able to help her to occasionally leave the nursing home that she is currently in and be able to get around more easily thanks to the mobility vehicle.
Thank you in advance for your help. All funds gratefully received.
Thank you on behalf of Charlotte and her family.
