I am not what I call a very active person, a lot of dog walking yes but that's about it, tried several exercise classes and gyms but never lasted more than a few weeks. Then I was inspired by a very special lady my niece Emma who took up running. I started to run last year, little steps to start with, covering a little more than a mile to start with and now looking to reach my ultimate goal of 10K. Therefore I am taking part in the Worcester 10K Run on Sunday 16th September. I decided it was a good opportunity to support a rescue very close to mine and my husband's heart. We have been supporting this amazing charity for many years and have been fostering for nearly seven years, these pictures are but a few of the many special babies that have come into our lives. It is very apt that I do this at this point as we have just this week reached our 200th foster dog and could not put into words what a wonderful experience this has been for us, difficult at times but very rewarding. This is a non profit rescue that manages solely on donations, particularly needed for our large vets bills which are regularly in the £1000's each month as many of the dogs we take in have been in need of emergency veterinary care. Please give what ever you can, no matter how small.
