In September 2019 I will be travelling to Guatemala in order to help protect baby turtles. I will be doing volunteer work every day for 10 weeks. Days will consist of finding turtle nesting sites and moving eggs into protected hatching sites, volunteering in schools in order to teach children about the environment, maintaining the forests by planting trees and collecting samples, organinsing clean ups of plastic waste on the beaches, teaching children how to swim and helping develope schools by painting class rooms or building something new for children to enjoy. This trip is my dream and i cannot wait to fulfil it, however i still need to raise the funds. The whole trip will be costing me £3000+ but it is for a wondeful cause as I will be helping save turtles which are rapidly becoming more and more endangered, and helping children learn new things. Please help me to spend my gapyear doing something good for the world.
