In October 2016 my partner left me and my three boys, I knew I couldn't afford the rent on my family home so I turned to my local council for support. Yeah they helped but suddenly I was getting benefit capped. So much that I couldn't afford my rent. I appealed and asked for grants to keep on top of my rent. Eventually I was evicted and the council rehoused us in a room! Miles away from my boys schools. As I do I travelled every morning to get my boys to school, waiting around for buses that are always late! 6 weeks past was the worst weeks of our life, surround by drug takers and mad people in this half way house. My local council found us a tempory house, 2 bedrooms still stuck miles away from my boys school.
I signed a contract to pay £31.45 A week, which is cheap but I can't afford this, busses cost me £87 A week to get my children to school. Gosh I only get £180 A week from the government. But I've been paying this and just adjusted to having no money. So now I can bid for houses! Yaye!
Not so great as I got offered a house in hemmimgwell estate, worst place to.live in wellingborough, young lads are getting knifed and house being robbed. So I've told the council I'm not accepting this offer for the safety of my children.
Wellingborough council is now evicting me again, and put a massive benefit cap on me, £140 A week rent!!! It's impossible!!
I want to relocate to Norwich with my family! I have a couple of jobs awaiting me, my council won't help me, I'm gonna end up homeless. Please help me relocate my family to Norwich, so I can finally settle and my boys will have a restful life
