I care so much for such a wonderful person and her young son who had to flee 2 weeks ago from domestic violence and she has not a single relative but her young son. She has worked all her life and now has overnight been moved 200 miles away into safe housing and is trying to get back on her feet somehow. She hasnt even a chair to sit on right now and i have been trying to ring around charities to help her but so far with no joy but a listening ear and being given another number to move on to. It is heartbreaking seeing her, with no fault of her own in this awful situation. She has been directed to the benefits system which temporarily eventually will assist her until she settles down in her new surroundings and settles her son into nursery and finds work again, but this experience is totally out of her confort zone and she feels so alone. I cant get my head around how people in her crisis, with no financial back-up until early December has to live on thin air. Until that date she has no funding whatsoever. She is such a sincere case of domestic violence that she had to flee with a few bags of clothing for her and her son under her arms, plus 2 cups, plates, knife and fork. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to please help support her with funding for a second hand chair to sit on and a table to eat from for her and her son. This lady nursed my dear mum for some years before she died and even in her own time visited her in her home and the Hospice she was in. She has a heart of gold and is a natural giver and this position she has found herself in is a desperate one right now.
