At our Oakleigh service in Dawlish, we provide support to people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. We want to regenerate our extensive land area with the help of the people we support. Our aim is to create a space where people can learn horticultural skills including how to become more self sufficient. We are hoping to raise £4,000 to support our staff who will invest time and skills to create an accredited course specially designed to give people a qualification. In order to help the project, our Area Manager Chris Browne is running the Vienna Marathon in April 2019.
