Our daughter Chloe was diagnosed chronic fatigue syndrome this year. As a family it has affected us all massively we have all had to change the way we live our lives. We have to plan ahead and use alternative forms just encase Chloe has a flare up. Chloe relys on a wheelchair so we can get to and from places and try to keep things a little normal. We have borrowed a wheelchair temporary from the red cross but we have to give it back soon. the GP has done a referral to wheelchair services but we still need to go through hoops to hopefully get one and earliest that could be is middle of September. Lisa has had to give up work so she can care for Chloe 24/7 as well as her 3 other siblings which can be very challenging when Chloe is having her bad days. We do not get any benefits to help chloe and chris works very hard to support the family. Chloe does half days at school. It is a very hidden illness that no one seems to be able to understand. There is no cure or medication. Its trying to learn to manage the condition and to change your whole life style.

Myself, Lisa Francis, Ellie francis and David Morris and running our first 5k on the 8th June 2019 at st Mary’s school in yate and would like to raise money to go towards ME AWARENESS please support us.
