    Story

Where do I even begin :(

I feel almost ashamed that I am posting this on here amidst all the heartbreaking causes I have read but I have no other choice.

Last September I was robbed while in London on a short break. They took mine and my boyfriend's passport, my phone and my bank card. They then proceeded to spend 320 GBP of my money before It was cancelled. They even took themselves to a strip club and spent 91GBP then withdrew 230GBP - I have absolutely no idea how they got my pin, but I am baffled as I hadnt used my pin for over 5 hours, so they either followed me for that long, or they have some sort of machines nowadays.
This money was my rent money and I have been struggling ever since.
I had to buy new passports for me and my boyfriend, I had to pay off my old contract which was another 250GBP and I finally managed to take another contract out for Christmas.
To add salt to the wound, my passport never arrived, but the envelope did. I have reported this to Royal Mail but alas, I have heard nothing for almost 3 months now, which was 75.50GBP down the drain.
My bank denied my fraud claim, as the person committing the crime knew my pin, therefore they have stated that I must have told them it, and that they cannot rule out that I didn't authorise it. I have fought and fought this but have gotten nowhere. I even emailed the CEO and they still denied me. I got in touch with the Ombudsman but that's been about 4 months now with no response and I am getting so close to being homeless it's unreal.
Thank you so much for reading my story, and again I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't absolutely desperate.
