On the 9th Septemeber me and my aching old knees will be running the GNR. I was lucky enough to get my number through the ballot this year but would love to take this opportunity to help a local charity which I’m sure is close to all our hearts. I didnt know Chloe & Liam personally but having a teenage girl around the same age, with similar interests and a love of concerts, the story of their tragic death in the atrocity of the Manchester bombings hit hard and broke my heart, as I’m sure it did with many, many familes.

The trust has been set up in honour of Chloe and Liam to inspire young people to follow their hopes and dreams and aspirarions through the likes of performing arts, sports and culture...this is what Chloe and Liam believed in and loved.

If you can spare a few pounds towards this fantastic local charity we would all be so very grateful.

I will do this run happy (ish) knowing my children will be at the finish line waiting for me, something so many parents that day have had cruelly taken away from them.

Every penny helps towards helping another child reach their hopes and dreams and keeps the memory of Chloe & Liam alive.
