Recently, I’ve noticed the level of homelessness is rising, especially amongst the youth. Whilst I know I can not help everyone, it is very rewarding to sit and spend time with those less fortunate and lessen the feeling of lonliness that they may be feeling.

As you know, Christmas is not too far away, and for most of us we can spend that time with family and friends, but for a lot of people they dont have that luxury. They wake up on December 25th to the feeling of lonliness, so what I’d like to do is have a community day, on Christmas day, and be able to accomodate those who have nowhere to go on Christmas day or maybe bring a smile to the face of those who typically spend the day alone.

The day will consist of a christmas dinner and also transport to and from the location. There will be movies and a kareoke session also, everyone is welcome.

The money raised will be used to fund the day (ie help with the costing of the venue and also the food and if there is enough to be able to get a few presents for those who will be there).
