    Story

A simple ride can have a profound impact on an elderley person who otherwise would spend their days inside a care home. The value of getting out and experience fresh air and the wind in their hair, to bring back memories of youth for elderly and infirm people can not be underestimated. To meet, to chat, to share stories in the local community beyond the care home with the public that we take for granted can be far more beneficial than taking any amount of pills and medication. We am to train up young people as pilots so there is real and tangible connection with the young and old in the community. The trishaw will be a symbol for inter generational connection in Elgin in Morayshire and will give elderly people people a sense of belonging and being valued. Please donate generously so we can get this worthwhile project off the ground this year.
