We are looking for donations for the PRC (Patient Recreation Centre) which is an integral part of day to day life for the patients at St Andrew’s Hospital in Northampton. The PRC is an open area of the hospital where patients from all pathways (Men’s Service, Women’s Service, Learning Disability, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury) to learn how to socialise and learn the ‘social norms’.

The PRC is staffed by volunteers who are doing this outside of their normal work time, where around 50-80 patients attend all with various different levels of Mental Health issues or Brain Injuries.

Being able to get a PlayStation for the centre would really benefit us and enable us to run more sessions like Fifa nights and other idea’s. Again it will bring some things that some patients would never have used before.
