On the 16th March 2019, Myself, Karen, Mel and Martina will all be taking part in an abseil of 128ft down Peel Tower in Bury, IN THE DARK!

I am the Activity Co-Ordinator at Claremont House care home in Heckmondwike. I am new to the role but not to the home. I have worked at Claremont for 2 and a half years now and I have come to know and love the residents that live there.

Claremont House specialises in Dementia care and being able to provide meaningful activities is so important to retain the residents social and mental well being.

We do not have a budget for things such as, days out, entertainers and activity equipment so all funds are raised to our Amenities Fund.

I would love to be able to meet our target of £400 to be able to plan some lovely things to do in the summer with our residents, such as boat trips, days to the zoo and maybe the theatre, as well as to purchase new equipment.
