It is with great sadness that we are setting this page up, in loving memory of our amazing, caring and fun husband, father, brother and uncle, Colin Rodgers, who was suddenly taken from us on 1st February whilst playing football despite the efforts of Redcar Leisure centre staff, paramedics and ambulance crew.

We, his family, politely request that instead of sending flowers to his service, anyone who wishes to do so, makes a donation to help us raise funds for a great cause

Colin has always been an avid runner and took part in the Redcar Parkrun along with his sons who all attended Coatham Primary School. Although medical staff could not save Colin, it is evidence to how crucial defibrillators can be in community places in the hope that one day they can save a life in the time it takes for emergency services to respond. With this in mind, your donations will be used to help purchase Portable Defibrillators for both Redcar Parkrun and Coatham C of E Primary School.
