Weʼve raised £201 to to buy hi-visibility jackets and other tools needed for our team of volunteers that keep Colindale cleaner :-)

Story
Part of the idea about litter picking is to raise awareness in the community about littering, fly tipping and dog fouling. But our volunteers have to be recognised when they are out and about picking litter. For this reason we need to buy high visibility jackets with our logo printed on it so people will know who we are and eventually will identify us as part of a team working for our community in Colindale and surroundings.
Hi-vis jackets is our top priority at the moment, then we need rings for bags which are not provided by the Council and make litter pick much easier and effective.
We need your help to achieve this and a smaill contribution will suffice to help us to reach our goal of £200

5 years agoDear supporters, 2018 is coming to an end and I did not want to pass the opportunity to say thanks agains for your kind support and donations made to the Colindale Litter Pickers. With the £200 raised we bought: - 5 extra hi-vis personalised jackets - 15 bag hops - 1 banner to raise awareness when we run our events - 50 badges to add our jackets We still got some money left for future use :-) We are looking forward to 2019 to keep raising awareness about littering and fly tipping!
