We are aiming to build a community library in a rural village in Nawabganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. We wish to build this library as a model and inclusive library for all age, and gender. This would be a practical space for both reading, learning and teaching.

There would be a conference room with modern facilities for the local community to hold seminars, and host variety of skill based programs.

There would be 2 computers for teaching computing skills as well as printing, and scanning facilities.

Finally, there would be an array of books of different genres and topics. There would be books on religion, history, politics, literature, and science.

A land is already donated by Shamsul Islam Khan (my father) for this ambitious but achievable project. The community library would be located beside a mosque and near a busy village market.
